WORKSHOP [External Opportunity] Economic Tools for Urban Management - The Case of the City of Medellín

In the context of the review of the Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial of Medellin, the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and the conglomerate of Public Institutions of the City of Medellín are organizing a workshop in Spanish that will discuss the city’s experiences in Urban Planning and Management, and will provide participants with tools on these topics.

The workshop is supported by CEPAL and includes participation from faculty members of the School of Economics at the Universidad de Costa Rica, the Fundação Getulio Vargas, and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy.

This workshop is aimed at professionals in the field of urban planning and management who wish to acquire tools for financing urban infrastructure such as public space, facilities, heritage, and mobility systems, based on and discussing the experiences of the city of Medellín, Colombia.
